LX Infinity is excited to announce open auditions for our upcoming productions: an evening of two one-act plays and a musical review: 'Echoes from Beyond the Stage'. Whether you are an experienced performer or just starting your journey, this is your chance to join a vibrant community and achieve your dreams on stage.
Two One-Act Plays:
Mr Kolpert by David Gieselmann translated by David Tushingham
Ralf and Sarah are bored. They decide to invite a couple of friends round for drinks and pizza. To spice things up Ralf pretends there's a dead body in their trunk – the dead body of one of their work colleagues. While they are waiting for the pizza, they play party games and discuss films, but nothing can cover up the tense atmosphere between the two couples. And maybe Ralf is not pretending after all...
Between Mouthfuls by Alan Ayckbourn
From the 1974 series Confusions, this play highlights marital dysfunction and infidelity. A weary waiter navigates two adjacent tables in a restaurant, where two couples, the bickering Pearces and the distant Martin and Polly unintentionally reveal they are linked by a shared affair, leading to a comedic, tense confrontation.

Echoes from Beyond the Stage:
This is a powerful musical journey that weaves together songs from productions created by or inspired by legendary artists whose voices have been lost but never silenced. This is a vibrant and uplifting musical celebration that brings together unforgettable songs from productions created by or inspired by iconic artists whose influence continues to shine.

8pm on 6th May and 13th May at Fleetdown Community Centre.
