BIG BROTHER IS ALWAYS WATCHING YOU.

The totalitarian Party outlaws individualism, independence, and free thought, warping the past to their will and controlling its citizens with fear and violence.

In the heart of this bleak world, Winston Smith dares to dream of a world free of Big Brother. Through small acts of defiance — starting a diary, falling in love — one lone man manages to take a stand for truth, freedom, and hope for the generations to come.

This is the inaugural production of LX Infinity Youth Theatre and is being adjudicated in the Kent Drama Association Festival on Saturday evening.

Whose Life Is It Anyway? by Brian Clark

28-30th September 2023

Fleetdown Community Centre, Dartford

Claire Harrison, a successful sculptor, is paralyzed in a car accident and kept alive by support systems in a hospital. Outwardly she's cheerful and often very funny, but she's overwhelmed by the fact that she has lost control of her own life.

As the play begins, she is coming to the decision that if she can't live as a woman, she doesn't want to exist as a medical achievement. Her physician, however, is utterly determined to preserve Claire's life, regardless of its quality.

Finally despite the pleas of the doctors and her involved nurse, Claire invokes the law of habeas corpus and a judge joins the battle to determine "Whose Life Is It Anyway?"

Fleetdown Community Centre, Dartford

26-29th April 2023

Seven Dials Playhouse, London

Pornography is a stark and shattering play that powerfully captures a portrait of a fractured, insecure Britain.

It was written in reaction to London crashing from the euphoria and promise at being awarded the 2012 Olympics into the chaos and reality of the 7/7 bombings, the play is composed of seven stories that serve as a countdown to the catastrophic attack on London. Each playlet focuses on a different individual dramatising their life in the run-up to the tragedy.
